Three Jackdaws Audio Students is a focused, small-group training program designed to take you from first mic check to professional audiobook narrator.
Across two six-week courses, you’ll master both the art and craft of narration- guided by industry professionals inside a real production studio.
Complete both, and you could join our in-house roster of paid narrators.
Course 1- The Professional Narrator
Duration: 6 Weeks · 2 Hours/Week · £185 · 6 Students
Build your foundation as a narrator. Learn the vocal, technical, and business essentials needed to deliver strong, engaging performances. By the end of this course, you’ll produce a polished demo reel and earn an invitation to Course 2.
Curriculum Snapshot:
Week 1: Breathing, articulation, and your home studio setup
Week 2–3: Script analysis and multi-character performance
Week 4: Non-fiction & technical narration
Week 5: Business of narration — auditions, demos, and rates
Week 6: Final performance review and graduation invitation

Course 2 - Polishing & producing
Duration: 6 Weeks · 2 Hours/Week · £185 · 6 Students (Course 1 graduates only)
Take your skills from solid performance to broadcast-quality production. Learn the post-production tools, editing workflows, and mastering standards required for professional audiobook delivery. Your final project- a fully edited, submission-ready chapter- will be reviewed by our in-house production team.
